Cool place just a short drive off the highway but well worth it. I had the breaded tenderloin and my wife had Grandma's meatloaf. The tenderloin was fantastic and the meatloaf was really good. "I'm still hungry", said no one ever after leaving here.
I heard about the food, but until you taste it, yum, yum, yum. This place is a hidden gem who needs Huy Fieri to feature them. I met the handsome male chef, who is humble. If you're in Sullivan, IN do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed.
The Friday fish special was great. The salad bar was good, but I wasn't expecting the small plate to be that small.
Friday fish was some of the best catfish I have ever had. That gives it a five star, and the slaw was awesome, but don't get the corn.
Food was delicious! So much for the price you get. The service was awesome.
I've never had a bad meal here. Today I had their new pot roast skillet with scrambled eggs plus cheese with a side of bacon(crispy). I also had an iced mocha coffee. The food... AMAZING! Potatoes were crisp, ample pot roast that was so tender and flavorful. The coffee was great. I should've gotten one for the road. This is my go to every time I'm camping locally. It's probably a good thing I'm not local or I would be as big as a barn! Hahaha! 😂
Stopped in for breakfast, it was on the route for the day of travel. Met the locals, which this place is frequented by. Shared a table with one of the regulars and fellow Veteran, his name is Steve, very nice gentleman. I had the 1/2 order of the Hunter's Mountain with home fry style potatoes. Aside from the large portion, it was delicious, great recommendation from the waitress, did get her name though. 🤷🏻♂️ I enjoyed my conversation with Steve, and of a little history of the area over breakfast. 👍👍
Wow, everything is ordered would just melt in your mouth, the Beef Manhattan was made with slow cooked beef then shredded and smothered in gravy, the coffee was made just right and the Oreo desert was delicious. I waited for nothing, my server was just wonderful, very friendly and attentive with a very welcoming smile. I thought she was an owner from how well she took care of everyone and knew all the regulars, my only complaint is that I have never been here before lol. Prices were very fair as well. An affordable home cooked meal, not many places like this left.

My husband and I were craving country fried steak and Kat A Korner delivered! We had never been to this diner, but have always heard great things about it. The restaurant was clean and had that small town feel. The work staff were so sweet and were very attentive to any of our needs. The steak was flavorful and nice and crispy. The mashed potatoes, creamy and gravy fantastic. The roll was soft and fluffy and had me craving another. Without a doubt, we will be back!
